I recently joined the cyclist life style, so I made a pit stop at REI Six Forks to pick up some equipment for my new bike. I was greeted with a smile and received white glove treatment. Kira assisted me along the way with product recommendations as she is an avid cyclist. She was amazing, and I appreciate the time she took to explain the purpose/value of certain equipment. I appreciate the excellent service at this location and will be back in the near future.

Great customer service. The staff were super friendly with us, and all the folks we talked to were helpful. We got the membership, it's worth it if you spend more than about 250$. They have high-qualitybstuff there, and they let us try on a backpack/baby carrier.

Incredible customer service from the bike shop--I brought my bike in after having messed up the wheels by driving over an open tire on the highway (whoops), and Caroline did an incredible job of welcoming me, fixing the problem in a timely manner, and also doing a bang-up job with the new wheels. I've been riding on them for months now and I've only gotten a single flat from riding over something sharp. I used to get spoke flats every month or so. Thank you so much to the Bike shop at REI and especially to Caroline!

Always a relaxed shopping experience at REI. Plenty of inventory and assistance to go right to what you need. Plenty of sizes to select from in clothing and can bring in any strays that might be out of stock.

REI & Laken for the win!!! I couldn't remember how to attach my Yakima bike rack (it had been a while 🫤) so I just headed over to REI where we purchased it. I'm retrained & ready to go!! Laken was patient & through!! I am super thankful!!!

I am very delayed to getting this review up, but I wanted to give a special shout out to Reid, Lilly, and Beck. You guys were all so welcoming and warm which was very much needed for the time I was experiencing. Reid especially did an amazing job setting me up for success in order to live comfortably out of my car. He was very thoughtful and kept my best interests in mind when showing me around the store and picking out what I would and would not need. I’ve been to many REI stores and am a member, I can full heartedly say that this team fully exemplifies what I have come to benchmark as the REI experience and why I will only ever go to this outdoor store. You all showed me a kindness during a dark time in my life which I will never forget. Thanks again for providing both the products and knowledge I needed to be safe on the road.

Other review was deleted, so I'll redo it. They ended up implementing a no bag policy, so imagine buying thousands of dollars worth of gear, clothing, whatever, and then trying to fumble around carrying your stuff to your car. I watched a lady dropping shirts on the way out the door after realizing she wasnt getting a bag. Or perhaps you just want to continue shopping in the area, you'd just rather leave instead because you dont wanna leave your new expensive gear in your car where it's subject to theft (since you just stuffed your new 700$ arcteryx alpha jacket in your back seat). The whole thing is just silly.

My brother and I came in to pick up a tea kettle and noticed a 40% off of product he had just purchased. A bit frustrated we asked Kristin at checkout if there was anything she could do to help. She happily looked everything up and provided a credit to him. Then I found an accessory that he also liked. She promptly ran to the back to see if there was another in stock. Unfortunately there was not, but Kristin’s customer service was second to none and we really appreciated her help and support!
